How did you meet?

I met Antonio when I was in high school when I got a job as a waitress at Paese Mio in Allentown, PA. I worked there for four years and he did about seven to eight. We never even thought about possibly dating, but one day, it just happened and it was meant to be! My dad was the one who told me I should get a job there and I am so happy he did!

What was your proposal like?

Tony had a whole day planned out with massages, hiking, champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and an amazing dinner and overnight stay at the Glasbern Inn in Fogelsville, PA. We love it there! This was on March 30, 2019. After dinner, he walked me over to look at their pretty ponds all lit up in the dark. At one point I turned around and he got down on one knee and I was so excited! I had a feeling based off the whole day he had planned this might be happening tonight, and I could not have been happier! It was so special!

What was your favorite moment of the wedding day (if you had to pick just one)?

I would say having my first look with my dad and of course my husband! I knew from the day I got engaged that I wanted to do a first look with my dad before seeing Tony. This was such a special moment and the pictures were beautiful of it. My dad then walked me out to Tony to have my first look with him. This is something I will never forget.

What made you cry?

I do not think I fully cried the day of my wedding but seeing my dad and him tear up during our first look, that got me. Such a bittersweet moment!

What surprised you?

After my first look with Tony, he pulled out a box in his pocket and gifted me the cutest gold/diamond heart bracelet and put it on me before we got married.

What moment was most important for you to have captured by the photographer?

The first looks, our kiss when we got married and some awesome firework pictures.

What was going through your mind when you saw your significant other for the first time that day?

I was so anxious to see what he thought about my dress! He was in love with it just as much as I was. He looked so handsome and so happy and I could not wait to marry him and celebrate all night with our closest friends and family!

What was something unique that you did?

The girls in the wedding wore cabernet colored dresses. I wanted to match them and my husbands bowtie in a way so my aunt go me beautiful high heels to match them and I got my nails painted cabernet as well!

What would you do differently?

Everything that could have gone wrong with our original wedding, did. Including having to switch locations about a month away from our wedding day, needing a new florist, having to find a new photographer a month away, etc. all because of Covid. Even though all of this unfortunately happened to us, we know it happened for a reason. We would not change a single thing! With all of the changes, everything fell perfectly in place and we think this wedding at Woodstone was 50X better than what we originally had planned! It was stressful trying to figure it all out with little time left but it was so beyond worth it. We had the most perfect day and weather!

What was your favorite design detail?

My cousin Ally and I made the cutest name place cards for everyone. We used real pine cones I got from my in laws backyard.

What was most helpful on the day of the wedding?

Zeynepa at Woodstone Country Club made sure we were on time for everything and was always around to help with whatever we needed. She was the absolute best!

What advice would you give to couples who are currently in the planning process?

Do not stress! It was so much fun for me to be able to research different styles, flowers, trying on wedding dresses, visiting venues, etc. I personally did not want any help planning, I like doing things on my own. I planned what I liked and got all my ideas together, showed my husband and went from there. It was so much fun and exciting and there is no reason to get stressed or overwhelmed (even if you have to plan a whole new wedding one month away from your date). It will be perfect in every way and it is your biggest day in your life so far. Your wedding day will go by SO fast. I wish we could go back! Just live in the moment and enjoy every second of it!
