How did you get started in this business?
I shot my first wedding when I was 18. I had never even attended a wedding at that point. A friend of mine that I was in yearbook club with in high school recommended me.
What is your favorite part of a wedding?
The toasts. How often do you have a room full of everyone that you love talking about you and your new spouse?! It’s a once in a lifetime thing.
What song/music is in heavy rotation for you right now?
Jason Mraz’s new album!
What is one of your hobbies?
What is your favorite restaurant to eat at in the Lehigh Valley? Your favorite dish to order?
What is your favorite movie and/or book genre? Romantic comedies. My favorite movie is About Time.
What does the perfect day look like to you?
The perfect day involves my family, my Great Danes, binge watching something great, a dance party in the kitchen and cooking together.
What is your favorite season and why?
Fall! I love the weather, sweaters, the leaves changing.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Hang out with friends and family and listen to audio books.
What is a common mistake you see couples make while planning a wedding?
Not having a realistic timeline and not taking 10 minutes by themselves to just enjoy it totally together.
What is your best advice for a couple planning their wedding?
Take other’s advice, but make your wedding exactly how you want it.
What are some of your favorite aspects of your business?
I love hearing people’s stories. I love working from home.
What is your fondest wedding memory-either from your wedding, if you are married, or from a wedding you attended?
My wedding was amazing…It was just a few close family members and friends in Santa Barbara, California. My favorite event at a wedding that I was working was when the bride’s father surprised her with Tim McGraw during the father daughter dance.
