We are so excited to share this wedding with you. Kate and Chris’ wedding was the definition of a joyful occasion. There were countless moments with their daughter that made their wedding even more personal and intimate. So much joy is displayed through these images, and no doubt in their marriage. Congratulations Kate and Chris!

How did you meet?
We met in college in Bloomsburg, PA. We didn’t connect until years later though.
What was your proposal like?
Very intimate. I was actually already 4 months pregnant. Chris couldn’t imagine his life without his (now TWO) girls!
What would you do differently?
Hire a videographer so I could hear and not just imagine the day through pictures!
What surprised you?
How fast the day really went, (although everyone tells you that)!
What was most helpful in the planning process?
Being relaxed. We planned ours in about 6 months! But being relaxed and doing some pretty amazing DIY’s was helpful.
The wedding gown was designed by the bride and handmade by the Mother of the Bride. It took months. Every piece of lace was hand cut and placed, specifically to cover her sleeve of tattoos. It was one sleeved, which was also very uncommon. She also hand dyed all the ribbons for the bouquets and made their daughter, the flower girl, her beautiful little dress!
What was your favorite design detail?
I am definitely into BOHO glam. My gown, of course! I also loved my GORGEOUS flowers.
What was something unique that you did?
Besides making my gown, and a FAKE cake, we also wore custom leather jackets, as both Chris and I love Harley Davidson and ride often. I didn’t tell Chris I was doing that, so that was fun.
What moment was most important for you to have captured by the photographer?
I thought getting Chris, Cora and I together… but Cora was actually sicker than a dog on our wedding day and she barely made it to the ceremony at all (go figure with kids!). It turns out, having all the little behind the scenes details were far more important.
What was going through your mind when you saw your significant other for the first time that day?
I was actually FAR more nervous than I thought I would be! I was just so excited to start celebrating WITH him though, as we spent most of the day with our respective parties.
What was your favorite moment of the wedding day (if you had to pick just one)?
My absolute favorite moment was hearing our daughter, Cora, call out to us during our ceremony. We both looked and laughed, and somehow the photographer got a picture of us behind Cora as she reaches out and says, “Mama!!”.
What made you cry?
Again, hearing our daughter as I walked down the aisle with my Daddy. Getting married was truly the icing on the cake for us, as we already had everything we needed. And having her there on that day and hearing her, just made it that much more special to see everything we had in fruition.
What made you laugh? Did you have an unforgettable funny moment?
Chris and I, true to character, actually joked and laughed throughout our ENTIRE ceremony. We had the best time and made everyone else laugh with us too.
Leading up, what moment was most important to you?
The food – which was fantastic. We just wanted everyone to have a great time. And they did!
